Homework

Yes, homework is important.  Your trial makeup session with the makeup artist could be your only contact with him or her before your big day when you need the makeup and hairstyle to be perfect so it pays to do some homework.  Browse magazines and sites for some sample looks that will go with your gown or dress and give the makeup artist just what personality you are trying to express on your big day!

Taking care of yourself

If you are one of the fortunate ones with flawless complexion, it still pays to ensure your skin is hydrated from inside out before the day itself.

The most carefree bride can also experience stress from handling family, friends and the various parties involved in the wedding preparations.  Stress will affect your skin and hair without you noticing it till it's too late.

3 months before the big day, start your skin care routine diligently.  If its possible try to have regular rest and balanced diet cutting back on foods that tend to irritate your skin or cause allergies, have your fiance take on some of the wedding planning tasks to reduce stress.
